Turtle rescue

Found this baby red eared slider at work in a grassy crack near a building about 200 yards away from the nearest pond. I kept it safe until Denise picked me up so she could release it in a retention pond.

Turtle lays eggs

During my walk around the parking lot at work today, I spotted this mama turtle laying eggs. I'm going to keep an eye on this spot in hopes of seeing baby red ear sliders emerge in about 50 days.
