Early sign of spring

Found these 2 adult rough earth snakes in the leaf litter while clearing a front yard flower bed of grass this morning. So lovely to see early signs of spring. 

Rattlesnake

Building staff at Nortech Business Park where I work photographed this rattle snake yesterday evening. It appears to be a juvenile western diamond back measuring about 2.5 feet long.
