Carrot frog

While harvesting carrots I spotted a cliff chirping frog. Every night, these tiny frogs call out, making a sound similar to a cricket. The carrot patch must be like a jungle to them.

Cliff chirping frogs are emerging from the pond! These tiny frogs sound similar to crickets, and are at home in limestone cliffs. They are among the only frog species that can walk and run.

Tiny, tiny frog

The tiniest frog in my yard is the cliff chirping frog. They sound as if a cricket made a single click instead of it's trilling chorus.
