Moose cross the road in pairs

Since Monday, I've been commuting about an hour each way from Republic to Colville to attend a  training. On my way home each evening, I've seen quite a bit of wildlife, including lots of deer, a pine marten, and this moose. 



Mother moose stood in the road for a while causing cars in each direction to stop. Soon, a surprise joined her: TWINS! They must had recently been born because they were unsteady on their feet. 

Once they crossed the road, traffic resumed and I was filled with gratitude for living in such a wondrous place. The car in front of me took the following video:
