Triple front yard butterfly sighting

For the past few weeks, many butterflies have been swarming the Austin area. This morning, I spotted three different beauties. Seeing them usually stops me in my tracks.

This monarch butterfly -- larger and with fewer white markings than its cousin, the queen -- fluttered in loops repeatedly between sips.

A swallowtail butterfly continuously flutters its wings as it drinks from lantana blossoms.
