Halloween camping safari

While camping on Halloween at Lake Georgetown, I took a hike to see what I could find.

A blue damsel fly rests on a leaf.

After turning over a rock, I found this insect that had just molted.

A mother spider, bottom center, guards a brood of dozens of baby spiders.

An unknown wildflower sends thousands of seeds into the wind.

Blue sage is one of my favorite wildflowers.

Can't get spookier than this.
What's a night of roughing it without "Rocky Horror Picture Show?"

The highlight of the grill was pumpkin seeds.
