Purchase: washi paper

I went to Jerry's Artorama, 6010 IH 35 North in Austin, to buy a few sheets of hand-made paper. I walked away with a single sheet of royal blue Awagami Factory Japanese paper for about $13. Expensive, but I believe it will be durable and the long fibers embedded in the paper should show through nicely in the sunlight.

My plan is to make two kites the same size at Yatko 2. Can't wait to work with this paper!
